The Kirkwood Institute has sued the City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa over its racially discriminatory ordinance establishing a citizen police review board. The ordinance uses race as a criteria for the selection of board members.

No one should ever face racial discrimination from their government, especially discrimination written directly into the law.
